I began my journey in dance education in 2009 when I started teaching Kinderballet, and in 2012, I proudly opened Dance Empire as the first Kinderballet licensee.
My mission has always been to create a fun, supportive environment where children can enjoy dancing simply for the joy of it, without the pressure of performance.
As a mother of three daughters, each with their own dance journey, I deeply understand the importance of nurturing every child’s individual path.
My eldest daughter, Baylie, has gone on to thrive as a professional dancer at Universal Studios in Beijing after studying in Australia, Canada, and Germany, while my second daughter, Kadelle, is training at the prestigious Academie Princesse Grace in Monaco.
Watching them grow and pursue their passions has greatly influenced how I approach both teaching and running Dance Empire, where we focus on fostering confidence and self-expression.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the strong sense of community we’ve built at Dance Empire.
We’re known as the Sunshine Coast’s favourite preschool ballet program, and seeing families return year after year is incredibly special. I’m also proud of the quality classes we offer and the qualified, passionate team of teachers who share in my vision.
The best part of teaching is seeing the joy on my students’ faces as they grow in confidence and parents’ happiness as they watch their children dance. It’s these moments of personal growth and joy that truly define the Dance Empire experience.
